Spyware & Virus Removal

Our approach to effective virus removal is to Use a test machine that can scan your computer's hard drive with 5 different constantly updated virus detection programs that will identify and remove virus infected files from a computer. This is done with the customer's hard drive slaved into the test machine so the client's operating sytem is not actively running it's registry files and processes. This is a better method for initially identifing and deleting virus infected files but for some type viruses is only half the effort needed to completely resolve the identified virus issue if the virus also installed registry keys into the operating system registry files. If a registry key was created by the virus then the registry keys for the virus also have to be deleted from the registry files to completely remove the impact of the virus. Once the virus infected files have been deleted then the client hard drive is rebooted in the client's computer to effectively remove virus generated registry entries from the now actively running operating system registry. Our approach to computer repair also includes a free training session on how to properly set up the properties of an effective virus solution on the customer's computer when it is picked up following the repair work that has been done.

Our approach to effective spyware removal and offering a complete spyware solution for our customers involves a combination of both spyware identification and fix tools ( See Wizard's Utilities Disk ) for spyware that have already been installed on a computer as well as a spyware prevention tool that prevents spyware from being installed on the computer in the future. The combination of these tools is the best in the industry today for spyware protection. We not only install these programs and scan the customer's hard drive to resolve spyware issues but train the customer on how to run and update these programs to assure continuing spyware protection in the future. This spyware training is performed when the customer picks up the computer following the repairs that have been made.

Even if the customer's computer is not even properly booting an active operating system and registry files and a test machine is not readily available, we have a special CD that we keep constantly updated that can remove both virus infected files and spyware installed programs off the customer's computer without even getting into an active operating system on the customer's computer. This method can effectively be used to repair multiple networked computers simultaneously at a customer location if a test machine is tied up scanning another computer in the customer's network, however the described test machine approach is used whenever possible.
